Hello! I’m Tonye - Founder of Studio Tee.
My path into interior design is not typical, but it is intentional.
Raised in the United States and currently based in Germany, I have long been inspired by international movement. Architecture, spatial design, and travel have always been a consistent source of joy and inspation in my life. The experiences I’ve made and exposure I have to different cities, cultures, and design philosophies refined my sensitivity to atmosphere, functionality, and aesthetic clarity.
Initially I pursued education in political science and international business with the intention of building a global career through understanding of complex systems. Later on, I transitioned into human resources, where I developed a deep appreciation for listening, recognizing potential, and guiding people with structure and intention.
Today, my learnings from these experiences converge in my pursuit of a creative career.
My professional training in interior design — including studies under Ramona Portugalov — provide the creative foundation of my work. At the same time, strategic thinking, project management, and commercial awareness define my approach.
For me, design is not simply decorative embellishment. It is a deliberate process with measurable impact.
My international perspective and extensive travel enable me to understand diverse needs quickly, recognize cultural nuance, and develop projects with depth. My guiding principle remains consistent: to create spaces that are not only visually impressive, but also create lasting value.
